Containers for Glass Sorting

Glass waste is usually collected in a special bell-shaped container. As against ordinary containers provided with wheels and a lid and emptied by tipping, this bell-shaped container has to be first lifted above the open body of a lorry and then its bottom should be opened to discharge the glass in the vehicle body. In certain areas there are containers divided vertically into two chambers painted in green and white. The chambers are used for separate collection of coloured glass and colourless glass in the green chamber and the white chamber, respectively.
